Elgar said that South Africa had made three changes to their lineup during his last test match.

“I’m about to bat. The pitch is intriguing. We’re at a very good place. We’ve already overcome the obstacle that you can’t win a two-match series if you lose the first one. The scoreboard begins with a zero. Everyone is aware of it. Elgar said, “Against this Indian team, getting off to a strong start will be crucial.

“Tristan Stubbs, a rookie, has entered in place of Temba. In place of the wounded Gerland Coetzee, (Lungi) Ngidi steps in. And Maharaj enters,” he continued.

Rohit Sharma acknowledged that India had made two changes and said he would have chosen to bat first if he had won the toss.

“I also would have batted first.” It seems like a strong pitch. We know it’s difficult to bat first on that surface, but ideally, we can take advantage of the fact that there will be ample pitch for the seamers. It’s important to move on from the past. We are aware of how crucial it is to score runs and take 20 wickets. didn’t occur in the first game, but we’re optimistic about our chances of success tonight, Rohit said.

Two modifications. Returning for (Ravichandran) Ashwin is (Ravindra) Jadeja. Mukesh Kumar takes over for Shardul Thakur, who is left out,” he said.
