ASEES DRMS Foundation Launches Free Disaster Response Platform to Improve Relief Coordination and Transparency

Chandigarh, July 11: ASEES DRMS Foundation has announced the launch of ASEES DRMS (Disaster Response & Management System), a technology platform designed to support disaster preparedness, emergency response and relief coordination by connecting government agencies, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), emergency responders, volunteers, donors and affected communities through a single digital ecosystem.

According to the Foundation, the platform has been developed as a free web and mobile application to facilitate coordinated disaster response while improving operational transparency and accountability during relief efforts.

The initiative was conceived following the floods that affected parts of Punjab in September 2025, when volunteers and relief organisations experienced challenges including fragmented communication, duplication of relief distribution and limited visibility into resource allocation. The Foundation stated that these experiences highlighted the need for an integrated disaster management platform.

The project was led by Shamsher Singh of Punjab, India, and Sukhjinder Singh of Calgary, Canada. The Foundation said the platform was developed through the voluntary contributions of professionals from India, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia.

“Our objective is to bring every stakeholder in disaster response onto a single platform so that relief reaches affected communities faster with greater coordination and accountability,” the founders said in a joint statement.

ASEES DRMS includes features intended to support various stages of disaster management, including:

  • Real-time dashboards for monitoring relief operations
  • Disaster alerts and incident reporting
  • Shelter mapping with occupancy and resource status
  • Digital donation tracking for relief activities
  • Missing person reporting and family reunification support
  • Volunteer registration and coordination
  • Warehouse inventory and relief material management
  • NGO verification before fundraising activities on the platform
  • “Adopt an Affected Area” functionality to facilitate rehabilitation support for disaster-affected localities

According to the Foundation, the platform follows a structured workflow in which incidents are reported, relief requirements are assessed, resources are allocated and field progress is digitally documented to improve coordination among participating stakeholders.

The Foundation stated that ASEES DRMS is available without charge for government departments, NGOs, corporate social responsibility (CSR) teams, volunteers and individual donors.

Further information about the platform is available at www.aseesdrms.com. Users may register through the web platform at https://app.aseesdrms.com or download the mobile application. Queries may be directed to info@aseesdrms.com.
